Foppish. Loud. Absurd.

A die-hard fan of Fashion. Currently awed by the arts of Photography. A sucker for anything with caramel. I love food as much as I love fashion. I could never choose between a quarter pound burger and a new pair of boots!!

Comfy Maxi

image

Instead of wasting my time at home being unproductive, I chose to be a supportive sister that day! I attended my younger brother’s graduation at Century Park Hotel. I was the one who shall take photos when my brother together with my parents comes up on stage so I wanted to be in something I can walk around with. So yes, maxi skirt it is! It’s dressy and comfy at the same time.

image

It felt good to see my former high school teachers again as they congratulated me for graduating college. Yes and it’s all thanks to them!

While I was seated there, waiting for my brother’s name to be called, I noticed the difference between high school graduation from college. But one thing I know is for sure, “One of the hardest parts about moving on after graduation is leaving your friends and your home for the last four years.”

The Big Day

"4 letters, PICC. 1 word, Graduation!" Quoted from the Magna Cum Laude’s speech. To be honest, I nearly teared up while upon hearing his speech. Everything he said was beyond realistic.

image

image

I was plainly seated there when my dad called me and said, “Tingin ka dito, ishot kita”. He was on the second floor of the hall with his zoom lens on the camera. I just love this shot!

image

Nothing beats the feeling of waiting for your name to be called and climbing up stage. After the 4 year journey, this is finally it. Those tiring days at school, exhausting school papers that pile up, cramming, not meeting deadlines, arrogant professors, thesis, internships, examinations, school events such as Pep Rally, Paskuhan, acquaintance parties, etc. These has all come to an end. But it doesn’t mean goodbye. Up till right now, I still can’t believe that I’m no longer a student!

MY BEST OOTD SO FAR!!

Sulong Arriba

image

Our Sulong Arriba and Baccalaureate Mass happened last March 25. All the graduates queued along the walls of Intramuros up to the gates of Letran. Sulong Arriba is a tradition of Letran for sending off their graduates. There are the pledge of loyalty, baccalaureate mass, candle lighting, hooding ceremony and fireworks!

So here’s what I wore. I like how this dress has pearls and rhinestones seamed on its neckline. I became attached to dainty pieces lately. Can you tell?

Mango bag; SM dept store dress; parisian heels, caite watch; forever 21 flower earrings

My dad was the one who attended for the hooding ceremony and also served as my photographer as well! He loves to work with his camera, just so you know.

And my wonderful college besties who did nothing but to put up with me any my big mouth! Who influenced me to do good in my studies! That college is not only about having fun and sneaking out classes and partying hard, it is also about getting good grades! I love you guys!♥ I know you read my blog!

I don’t usually wear dangling earrings but….. 😹😂

Summer gradient

It won’t be long then it’s summer once more! I used to love summer. Well, I still do. I am actually looking forward to it but I thought that this year’s going to be different. A lot different.

This summer, I will be leaving the four corners of Letran with this big proud smile on my face and a diploma on my hand. School is all I’ve known and I can’t believe the departure is fast approaching. Or maybe I’m just afraid of this new chapter in life looking ahead of me.

There was this weak girl with the wayward hair. She has this weird twisted ways of constantly overthinking negativity because of the choices she makes. Thinking positively. The common cliché. Perhaps for some, but not for her. She is never sure. She always wants approval of others. What happened to the same sturdy girl with high self-esteem that she used to be? Now it’s all about, she could have done that, she could have done this, she would have been better. She’s incurable, full of self-loathing. She doesn’t understand that life is full of ups and downs and that making a mistake is normal. No one ever knew this, maybe because of her big smiles and loud emphatic laughs. She feels unattractive in all ways possible. When will she realize that she should stop? Stop feeding herself with negativity. She needs help. Desperately. Take her back to the woman she was before.

From then I told her: Don’t live by the judgement of others, live by hers. Stop assessing her personality as what they asses of her. Don’t feed herself with what others think of her. You are as damn perfect as you are. These people have nothing to do with their lives that’s why they meddle with yours. Screw conformity and going with the society’s flow.

And for the first time after a long time, she listened. I bet her puny, little self forgot to be stubborn. I am glad to see that she is now far from this girl she was a month ago. And yup, she needed no help. All she needed was herself. ALL I NEEDED WAS MYSELF.

Since it was a holiday, in other words no school and OJT!! Finally, freedom for a day! Do you know Sunday is my only rest day this semester? Aside from waking up 6am everyday, I usually arrive home around 8-9pm, which means no more social life for me.
